How did Mercury IT help the Sisters of Compassion get IT support across a range of locations and countries, and lower IT and telecommunications costs?
The Sisters of Compassion is a congregation working with people in need, in a wide range of locations across New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga and Australia. The Sisters provide social work, pastoral ministries, prison chaplaincies, education ministries and care of the elderly.
Mercury IT worked with the Sisters to develop a server infrastructure which enables all their sites and staff to communicate and share data. Mercury delivered new internet lines and included both on-site and cloud based servers with real time file replication.
In addition, support services are provided to users at a range of locations, with a variety of different ability levels, across a range of time zones.
As part of the Sisters’ recent IT and telecommunications review, Mercury IT also installed a Cloud PBX phone solution for the organisation. This system allows free calling in between sites in New Zealand, and allows the Sisters to communicate with other remote offices easily while reducing overall telecommunications costs.
Mercury IT now provide the following services to the Sisters of Compassion:
- Hosted server solution
- On-site server solution
- User support for IT and telco solutions
- All Microsoft server licensing
- TechSoup Microsoft charity licensing
- Cloud PBX
- Fibre Internet
No matter what your IT needs we will work with you to implement a support program that works. If you have an IT need then get in contact so we can add your success story the list!
